About Jahangir Ashraf

Portrait of Jahangir Ashraf

Hi! My name is Jahangir Ashraf. I was born on 21 December 2001 and raised in Goa, India.

I wish to live and die for the sake of my people. Though I may not be an extrovert, I have always loved telling stories.

Stories call to me like old friends. I write them, shape them, and breathe life into them. I weave poems and sonnets from quiet thoughts, and when words fall silent, I draw—allowing lines and colors to become voices of their own.

I am a quiet voice in a noisy world, creating beauty wherever I can—with ink, thought, and heart.

My Story

I began writing poetry in my early years, compelled by a desire to give form to what stirred quietly within. Over time, that passion grew into a lifelong pursuit.

After years of exploring poetry, stories, and artistic expression, I have begun sharing my work with the world. For me, writing is more than expression—it is a bridge connecting one soul to another.

What Inspires Me

Nature, solitude, voices from the past, history, memory, and the depth of human experience inspire my work. I write to remember, to forget, and to transform.
