Hi! My name is Jahangir Ashraf. Born And broughtup in Goa-India.
I wish to live and die for the sake of my people. I might not be an extrovert but I still love to tell stories.
Stories call to me like old friends. I write them, shape them, breathe life into them. I weave poems and sonnets from the quiet threads of thought. And when words fall silent, I draw—lines and colors becoming voices of their own.
I am a quiet voice in a noisy world, creating beauty wherever I can—with ink, with thought, and with heart.
My Story
I began writing poetry in my early years, compelled by an urge to shape the formless — to give voice to what stirred quietly within. In time, that quiet passion grew, and now, after years of wandering through verses and stories, I have begun to share my work with the world.
Be it a hushed line on paper or the rhythm of a spoken word, I believe writing is not merely expression — it is communion, a delicate bridge between soul and soul.
What Inspires Me
Nature, solitude, voices from the past, and the ache of the human experience all inspire my work. I write to remember, to forget, and to transform.
Publish Your Work Here
This space is a home for words — mine, and those of kindred spirits. While I began by penning my own poetry and stories, this blog has grown into a quiet sanctuary where voices come together. Here, you’ll find not only my reflections and verses, but also the stories and poems of others — each one a thread in the larger tapestry of thought, feeling, and imagination.
If you’re a writer or poet wishing to share your work, I warmly welcome your voice.
